The Color Lab

Amanda is a WIZARD - a legit hair wizard. I came in for a hair color correction. I had gone to a different stylist for bubblegum pink hair, but it turned out as a deep watermelon red b/c she didn't lighten my hair enough. I washed my hair with dawn dish soap to try to remove as much of the dye as possible. Amanda was able to tell the previous stylist didn't lighten my hair enough and was able to get my hair the perfect shade of pink in one session (without any complaints about my hair!!!) She is by far the best damn colorist in Alabama and it was worth driving an hour to get to her. Pictures included to show inspiration hair, resulting hair color from previous stylist, hair before Amanda/after Dawn dish soap, hair after Amanda worked her magic. This woman is an absolute boss and you shouldn't waste your time going anywhere else.

Amanda is a genius with hair color!!! When my previous hairstylist, that I had been going to for years, moved out of state, I was concerned that a new colorist would not be able to match it. Well, she matched it PERFECTLY! I was jumping for joy after my appointment!!! Not all hairdressers are a master colorist, and she is one. She actually traveled to Canada to learn this skill. I highly recommend her to anyone who wants their hair color done RIGHT!

Absolutely amazing experience! Amanda knew exactly what to do with my hair and exactly how to get it to where I wanted. She did not rush, she very thoroughly explained what she was about to do, and she was generally a very fun person to be around! I will definitely be coming back and I highly recommend Amanda for anyone who needs hair coloring and cutting. I felt very understood and got the exact results I wanted and her studio is so adorable!

I absolutely love Amanda and The Color Lab! She is an expert in color- my hair has never looked better and so natural. Amanda is a master in cutting as well! I get so many compliments on my cut and style - everyone says I look so young! I would recommend Amanda and The Color Lab to anyone who wants to look and feel like a Princess!

I cannot begin to explain how amazing Amanda is! I live a busy busy life and Amanda was very understanding with my scheduling and very patient with trying to find me an appointment. She is meticulous and will not let you leave until you are in love with your hair!! Not only is she one the best stylist I've ever went to but she is an astounding person and her suite is setup and decorated so CUTE that I felt right at home. Luckily I was able to also witness her transform another lady's hair...LET ME TELL YOU, this girls hair transformation changed this young lady's confidence...she walked out of there feeling beautiful and you could tell...like seriously it was so heartwarming. Give Amanda a try, you will not be sorry!!
