Then, I discovered Base Hair Salon on Instagram, and specifically, the owner, Ashley – and I haven't looked back since! I've been a loyal client at Base Hair Salon for over 7 years now, and Ashley is simply amazing. She's not just a stylist; she truly listens to her customers' wants and needs, always accommodating and ensuring you leave feeling fantastic. Her expertise covers it all – she's a phenomenal master colorist, gives incredible haircuts, and can deliver a super-model blowout that lasts for days, all at a very reasonable price. I still laugh thinking about the time I decided to cut bangs again after growing out the front of my hair for a year. Ashley looked me straight in the eyes and, with a knowing smile, asked if everything was okay in the romance department. It's a cliche, but her genuine care and personal attention, even for something so simple, truly sets her apart. One of the loveliest advantages of Base Hair Salon is the intimate, personal experience. The salon is small, which is a huge plus – it's never noisy, chaotic, or filled with the typical hair-salon drama you find in larger establishments. You get truly personal attention from Ashley, which is invaluable. Parking is also a total breeze, which is a rare find in Miami! There's a big parking lot directly behind the salon, a convenient garage down the street, and ample street parking. If you're searching for the best hair salon in Miami for expert hair color, precision haircuts, or a stunning blowout, I cannot recommend Base Hair Salon and Ashley enough. It – and she – are true gems!

I’ve been seeing Ashley for years and wanted to leave an updated review. I am so grateful to have found her. She is a Master when it comes to color. I’ve tried many shades of blonde over the years and I always walk out with something that looks beautiful and natural - and it’s always low maintenance. Whatever sorcery she does, I can usually get away with highlights 2-3x/year, which I really value. She takes the time to understand what I’m asking for, which I always appreciate . And the experience in the salon is great, too. Very relaxed vibes and a pretty space. Highly recommend Ashley and BASE.

Ashley was fantastic! she was meticulous with our son's cut, which was his first real haircut. his hair was passed mid-back. we also decided to donate his hair and she was extremely informative as to how to cut it for donation. thank you again!
